Eulogia
A European association of translation companies
Spread across 20 countries, Eulogia member companies form a collective of the very best translators in each language from around the globe. Beyond pooling resources, they share best practices, experiences, and expertise, growing as individuals and continually expanding their web of knowledge to benefit their global clients and partners. espell frequently cooperates with other members to share knowledge and utilize synergies.
Proford
Hungarian Association of Professional Language Service Providers
Proford was established in 2012, with espell as one of its founding members. It is the advocacy body of professional language service providers in Hungary. They organize workshops, conferences, and job fairs, promote quality norms and standards, and also represent the interests of professional language service providers on both the Hungarian and international markets.
EUATC
European Union of Associations of Translation Companies
Members of the EUATC are national associations of translation companies established in any European country. In order to encourage genuine national representation and co-operation, only one association per country can become a member. In countries where more than one association of translation companies exists, the associations are encouraged to work together to further the unity and strength of the industry. espell is a network member via Proford.
Meet Central Europe
A joint venture of 4 founding associations of translation companies from Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia, which every year jointly organize the Meet Central Europe Conference as a recurring regional event for the translation industry. espell as a co-founder via Proford has been actively promoting and supporting this initiative since its inception in 2017.
SZOFT
Association of Freelance Translators and Interpreters (Hungary)
SZOFT is a community of independent, open, creative language professionals who focus on partnerships and knowledge sharing between industry experts, training institutions, students and aspiring beginners, language service companies, and developers of computer-assisted translation tools. They work for the recognition of their profession as an enabler of positive changes across the world, while showing a passion about social responsibility. As a platinum sponsor, espell fully recognizes the importance of SZOFT in representing the freelance community and in driving cooperation with other industry stakeholders.
WeAreOpen
WeAreOpen was founded in Budapest in 2013 by the visionary leaders of Prezi, Google and espell. Its mission is to show millions of people that openness is a value for organizations. WeAreOpen helps businesses and employees experience, learn, and demonstrate the benefits of diversity and inclusion. It operates as a non-profit organization.
